• Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) (Pediatric): CAS is a complex motor speech disorder whereby the individual is unable to correctly form sounds and words despite there being no muscle weakness or other structural deficiencies. This difficulty with speech is due to faulty wiring from the brain (known as motor planning) to the articulators.
